this week’s sunday spotlight will be a little different. i’m spotlighting myself for scrapping anything at all! LOL last saturday, i played in the speed scrap at Sugar Hill Co… it was my first speed scrap ever, and i loved it! i’m really looking forward to the next one, which is this saturday at 9 pm ET! hopefully, you can join us. just stop by the forums on saturday night! you never know what sort of prizes & freebies you’ll find!!
so, here’s what i created last week:
our first instruction for the speed scrap was to choose SIX photos. i chose six of the MANY photos I have of Logan through the seasons. then, the ever-so-generous miss tiina gave us the doodled frame for free to get started! next, following the speed scrap instructions – i added elements from my divine canine kit @ Oscraps & my metro chic paper pack @ Sugar Hill Co. in about an hour i had this completed page ready to be uploaded to the galleries! woot!

i LOVE the colors and elements in this kit, so i decided to re-scrap some old halloween pictures i had… the hubs and i have a tradition of carving one intricate jack-o-lantern each october. this one might have been my favorite!!

while i was designing this kit, i discovered these awesome new Oots lunchboxes! (the containers are dishwasher & microwave safe, there’s a perfect little spot for a water bottle, and the stacked design is a “cool new twist on an everyday staple!”) i would have LOVED carrying one of these to school!
