This week’s Sunday Spotlight is… flohbock’s back to school page, Art!

These pictures are precious, and Manuela beautifully combined several different element sets on this page! I love how each element works together to showcase the four central photos!

there’s a new line of commercial use, layered, vector alphas at Sugar Hill Co! POWER PATTERNS!
In plaid, polka dots, and houndstooth. Each set is only $1.35

each alpha set includes a set of capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and some punctuation – in layered, vector EPS & layered PSD files for easy recoloring & customizing!

now it’s time for another – SUNDAY SPOTLIGHT!
this week’s sunday spotlight will be a little different. i’m spotlighting myself for scrapping anything at all! LOL last saturday, i played in the speed scrap at Sugar Hill Co… it was my first speed scrap ever, and i loved it! i’m really looking forward to the next one, which is this saturday at 9 pm ET! hopefully, you can join us. just stop by the forums on saturday night! you never know what sort of prizes & freebies you’ll find!!

so, here’s what i created last week:

our first instruction for the speed scrap was to choose SIX photos. i chose six of the MANY photos I have of Logan through the seasons. then, the ever-so-generous miss tiina gave us the doodled frame for free to get started! next, following the speed scrap instructions – i added elements from my divine canine kit @ Oscraps & my metro chic paper pack @ Sugar Hill Co. in about an hour i had this completed page ready to be uploaded to the galleries! woot!

I love this layout… the “water” and word art just seem to sail right through the page! I also love the combination of color and black & white photos… the variety of blues, whites, and grays feel so “Cape Cod nautical.” Thanks for letting me share your layout this week, Jess!

I’ve really enjoyed browsing the online galleries recently, and I see some incredible pieces of art that deserve a special shout-out. So…. I’ve decided to start “Sunday Spotlight” ~ just for those layouts that really stand out to me during the previous week!

Last week, I updated & re-released my Recharged Page Kit at Sugar Hill Co. The fantastic Fantacy Bryant created THIS beautiful page with it!

Her journaling is precious & ties in perfectly with the energetic feel of the page, don’t you think?? The little details all work great together – she even moved the blue robot’s eyeballs, so that he’s looking at this COOL photo of her little girl! Sweet!
