As I have been gearing up for the holiday season, I find that I am always looking ahead. With life being so busy, I have become a planner. Today I would like to help you be a planner as well. Please enjoy this gift of a calendar. This was made using Danielle’s beautiful kit, Sweet Tropics. Happy planning!!

Hello scrappers!! I’m so excited that Danielle let me present this week’s challenge! I’m KirstyB and I am guest scrapping for Danielle this month.
It has been so much fun to browse the team galleries and see what her fab CT has been up to!! So much fun, in fact, that I have one layout I already lifted and several layouts bookmarked to lift in the near future!!
Let me share a few with you…
(Just click on the layout to go to the Oscraps gallery….feel free to leave some lovin’ to for the scrap artists!)
The Layout I lifted…..

And my layout…

Layouts to lift in the future…

Believe me…these are just a few of my favorite ones!!
I’ve been kinda rusty in the scrapping department lately and sometimes the best way for me to get a jump start is to lift someone.
My challenge for you is to browse Danielle’s team galleries at Oscraps and Inspiration lane!! Find a layout that catches your eye and lift it!!
Link us up when you are done and you might win a $5 GC in Danielle’s store!! Don’t forget to use some of Danielle’s goodies in your layout…and above all else….have fun!!
Oh, and before I forget….Congrats To TessieB for playing last week’s challenge…(I think Danielle is e-mailing you directly…but if you don’t hear from her, drop a note at danielle(at)danielleyoungdesigns(dot)com) and she’ll hook you up with a $5 gifty code!

Do you ever just love to show off as many pattern papers as you can in one page? Well, I love to and with Danielle’s Kit Licorice Jellybean there is the perfect opportunity to do this. I loved this page by kissedbysunshine because of all the little things that are put into it and the different papers still make the photos POP! There is still so much texture to the page with such a great focus on the little details. Enjoy your week and happy scrapping.

Hello scrappers. Christy here. It’s time once again for a brand new challenge, but before I give you the details. Let me say congratulations to Jamie she is the winner of last week’s challenge. Fantastic job using all those spooktakular goodies of Danielle’s. Please drop Danielle an e-mail at danielle at danielleyoungdesigns dot com and she will hook you up with a $5 GC.
Now onto this week’s challenge. Those of us in the US are gearing up to celebrate the holidays, Thanksgiving is only a couple weeks away for us. This is the time of year when most of us will stop and reflect about what we are thankful for or in this case grateful for as well. So that is my challenge to you, please do a LO using either the words GRATEFUL or THANKFUL as your title and tell us what you are thankful/grateful for.
Danielle’s brand new kit Mayflower is perfect for this challenge. The prize is a $5 GC to a random player.

Here is what I came up with. I recently lost my Grandma very unexpectantly this weekend and it gave me a chance to reflect on what I am GRATEFUL about for having known her.

Kirsty did one too for the challenge and she did one about her son.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with. Have a great week.

Val here with today’s Inspirational Post!
I got a flash and wanted to share it with you.
I’ve always been fascinated by Danielle’s papers … In ALL of her kits, packs or freebies, her papers are just fab! They have great texture, colors and style…. and, well I love them all!
Recently I saw in Danielle’s layout galleries some layouts which really show off how to use the papers - and all the layouts use the “double paper layering”…
Maybe I should first show you what I mean? (click on each LO for the full credit)

Do you see what I mean now?
Your Inspirational challenge for today - try to create a layout using the double paper layering technique.
I am sure you will create a great LO, especially with the great recent paper packs from Danielle, like

at Oscraps and ACOT

and
at Inspiration Lane
I hope you will get inspired… and most of all, have fun!

Happy first week of November!
For our first challenge for this month, we have one simple request….
Show us your Halloween themed pages using your spooktacular scavenger hunt freebies!
You collected them last week….now put them to good use
(Here’s what you collected, if you haven’t had a chance to “unpack” the goodies….)

So, your challenge - Create a Halloween-themed layout,
using your Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt Freebies & post them to your favorite gallery/blog.
(If you go to Oscraps or Inspiration Lane, consider putting them in Danielle’s designer galleries - you never know when we might use them as an Inspirational Layout for this blog…..!)
After you post them, come back here and leave us some lovin’ in the comment section - with a link to your layout.
Your Reward….. One random winner will receive Danielle’s upcoming Thanksgiving-Themed kit as a gift!
So that’s all ya have to do! No tricks…just a chance for
additional treats when you play along with this challenge!

CLUE #4
On Halloween night, while the kids are trick-or-treating, the witches will be brewing some fresh spider cider at Oscraps.

oh, and the oscraps gallery and forum are back up temporarily in case you missed one of the earlier treats!!

Almost time to trick or treat, only 1 day to go! Get your treats early by following another clue…
CLUE #3: As she prepares for the trick-or-treaters tomorrow night, Danielle’s home is decorated with jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins galore! Every year, Danielle and her husband carve the coolest jack-o-lantern ever! First, they scour the internet for some spooky inspiration and they layout tons of newspaper on the kitchen table before digging in to scrape out the seeds!
Don’t forget, if you need any help, just contact us! GOOD LUCK!!
