Hi everyone! My name is Ona (aka wombat146) and I am from Grafton in Australia.

For this week’s challenge I want you to think about music and songs. How does music influence you! Does it help with your creativity? Maybe you like listening to music while you are scrapping, or perhaps while you are exercising or just fooling around with the kids. Different types of music can also influence our state of mind, if I am sitting down relaxing I would rather listen to Enya than say Guns & Roses!…..I leave that for when I am doing the housework!

Think about the music that inspires you, maybe its a song or piece of music that reminds you of your childhood or teenage years growing up, do you and your partner have your own ’special song’ or do you have a favourite song that you just love to listen to and sing out loud along with it! Take out those old photos that you still have to scrap, look at them and then ‘listen’ – maybe a song comes to mind that expresses exactly what your feelings are about this picture, this is especially helpful when you don’t like to do a lot of journaling or just have writers ‘block’.

So come along and have fun with our music challenge, the rules for the challenge are easy to follow:-

Hello! This is Clara from Olympia, Washington. This weekend I did something I never in a million years thought I would ever do…I went skydiving. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I can’t even put into words the feeling of flying through the air. It doesn’t feel like you are falling, it feels lik eyou are flying. If you have never done it I would definitely recommend it.

This event has inspired this weeks challenge. I want you to scrap something done for the first time. It can be anything…the first time you saw your child, your child’s first time riding a bike, your first house buying experience. The options are endless.

There are not many rules for this contest…it doesn’t even have to be an original layout (although what a fun excuse to scrap something you haven’t gotten to yet). It does have to be at least 50% Danielle Young Designs.

All contests have to have a prize. This prize is an awesome one. Danielle has a new kit coming out and you will one of the first people to receive it before it is even available to the public. You have one week. The deadline is June 28. The winner will be chosen randomly. Good luck and I am looking forward to seeing what great “firsts” you share with us.
